Lains Barn

There is limited parking available. We recommend getting taxis to and from the venue to allow yourself to fully relax and enjoy the day.

When entering directions into a Satnav or directions app, please ensure you type Lains Barn in and not our postcode as we share the postcode with a farm on the same road. If booking taxis, please pass this information on to them to ensure they are able to find us and collect you and your party. We wouldn’t want to wake the cows up at midnight!

Lains Barn does not have any onsite accommodation for guests. Please see our suppliers page for more information about overnight accommodation in the area.

We strongly encourage all guests to pre book their taxis prior to the wedding date as taxi services are extremely busy due to having a large number of event venues and hotels in the area. Please see below for a list of local taxi firms:

Lains Barn is a WIFI free zone. So, put down your phone, switch off from the world, and enjoy being able to celebrate such a special day.

Lains Barn has wheelchair access and a disabled toilet. Wheelchairs are able to move easily throughout the venue. We are a registered historic building so the floors in the main barn area are slightly uneven. If you wish to visit the venue beforehand to see the area and facilities then we are more than happy to accommodate this. Please book your visit in by emailing events@lainsbarn.co.uk.

Due to the location of the venue in the Oxfordshire countryside, the Barn is not accessible by public transport. The closest train station is Didcot, then a further 5-10 minute journey by taxi would be required to reach the venue.

If the couple have decided that they would like to have confetti on their wedding day they will provide their own that complies with the standard that we require (and matches their colour scheme for the day!)  We kindly ask that you do not bring your own as certain confetti can stain our historic wooden floors and cause permanent damage.

We recommend contacting the couple or a member of the bridal party if you are missing an item, as anything found will be handed over to them.

Lains Barn accepts both cash, card, apple pay, amex, and most forms of payment.
